05/08/10 – Making fire

On our recent camping extravaganza some of the best fun we had related to making fire.
Lighting the gas to make bacon butties, setting the campfire alight so we could toast marshmallows, boiling the kettle….all very fine pursuits when there is no telly….

We came out at a not-so-clever 14.98 tonnes of carbon emitted annually. We should be around 2……
No cavity wall insulation, not on a green tariff for our gas and electricity, the car usage…this all added up to cancel out and completely out-weigh our lack [...]

10/01/10 – I made a log and it was good

Hoo.
