30/06/10 – Moving House
I am currently trying to help my dad move down here to be nearer to us.
Bizarrely, in they way that only people of a certain age can be, he is more worried about getting his things down here than the small matter of me actually being able to find him a place he can afford before he [...]

29/06/10 – Useful!
I found this on E-bay – Garden Pourer.
It turns any bottle in to a watering can with a very positionable spout. Handy when the water is running off the grow bags because you canit hit the openings through all the foliage…also worth noting that it works for pretty much any bottle – even a pretty one!

25/06/10 – MILK
Today we are doing a fashion show to celebrate the culmination of national breastfeeding week and to raise funds for the local breastfeeding support group MILK. It is totally representative of how times have changed for a modern mother that we now have to have state funded groups to help women to establish effective and comfortable breastfeeding. [...]

24/06/10 – Bird Feeders
After years of being too frightened to encourage birds to visit us in case they are dispatched by the neighbour’s cat, we have decided to risk it. Not least because the neighbours have such a tempting smorgasbord of treats on offer in their garden, we feel it is our moral duty to try and tempt them over there so they at least [...]
